You will need
- - 300 g carrots;
- - 160 g of processed cheese;
- - 50 g butter;
- - 20 ml of heavy cream;
- - 2 egg whites;
- - salt.
Rinse the fresh carrot, peel it, and rub it on a fine grater. Melt the butter in a skillet, put the prepared carrot in it, simmer for 5-7 minutes under the lid closed. After that, put it in a deep bowl, add egg whites, whipped with a pinch of regular salt.
Cover the baking sheet with parchment paper and place carrot mass on top of it. Since this mass does not spread on the baking sheet, you can easily put it in a square or rectangle. Just keep in mind that the formation should be about 7 mm thick.
Put the pan in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees. Cook for about 15 minutes. Then cover the carrot cake with a wet towel, let it cool for a while.
While you can mix fat cream with heated melted cheese. Remove the towel from the carrot bed, cover the carrot with a second sheet of parchment paper, turn it over, carefully remove the paper on which the cake was baked.Spread the layer of cheese mass, leaving about 1 centimeter of free space around the edges. Gently roll the carrot roll, cool, cut into portions. Carrot roll is ready, serve this healthy dish for breakfast or lunch.
