How to install a faucet
Open the existing tap and drain the remaining water in the pipe. Unscrew the thread of the old tap from the pipe with a gas or adjustable wrench, loosen the fastener.
Turn the wrench, fastened around the pipe, clockwise to remove the fastening nut. Put a special machine oil on it to make the nut lighter. Fix the nut with one key and unscrew the pipe coupling with the second one. Remove the unscrewed tap from the pipe and disconnect the water supply hoses.
Replace the valves following the direction of water flow indicated on the valves. Before installing the faucet, place a special gasket on the wash shelf that will be under the swiveled faucet. Put the valve on the sink and tighten the nut, tightening it as much as possible.
Connect the tap to the pipes and valves with flexible hoses and seal the joints with sanitary tape or tow. Lubricate with sealant and tighten all connections.
At the junction of the faucet with the pipes, annular sanitary gaskets should be placed to prevent water flow.
Unscrew the valves and try to open the tap - check if the water is leaking and if all the connections are tight.
