How to install a fence of metal profiles

You will need
  • - metal profiles with a sheet thickness of 0.5 mm;
  • - metal poles;
  • - metal lags;
  • - shovel;
  • - Sand and gravel;
  • - cement;
  • - welding machine;
  • - self-tapping screws;
  • - building level;
  • - drill.
Instruction
Mark the perimeter of the plot with wooden pegs and a rope. Beat the pegs at a distance of 2-3 meters from each other and pull the thread. To avoid controversial issues with neighbors, make a marking of the fence between the sites together, according to the plan of boundaries.
Determine the location of the pillars. The first of them should be at the corner of the site, and the rest after 2.5 m from each other.
Dig pits for posts 2050 cm deep. Place a sand-gravel pad on the bottom of each one.
As the supporting pillars, you can use a square profile of 600x600 mm and a thickness of 2 mm or metal pipes. Put the pillars in the prepared pits, level them with a level or plumb. To prevent them from mixing, reinforce with a stone or large pieces of broken brick.
Prepare the cement mortar.Knead it at the rate of 1: 3. It is more convenient to use a concrete mixer for this purpose, but it is also possible to knead the solution manually, since not a very large amount of concrete is required to fill the pits.
Fill the pits with prepared concrete flush with the ground. Let the solution harden.
In order to give metal pillars greater strength, you can make a formwork around them and fill it with a mortar. The strip foundation will be obtained, which will firmly fix the basis for the fence from the metal profile.
Cut the pieces of the profile for the veined. Weld crossmembers to support posts in 2 or 3 rows depending on the height of the fence.
To make the fence from the front of the site more attractive, after welded cross, overlap the pillars with facing brick.
Before proceeding with the installation of metal profiles, make sure that the solution is completely dry. It will take several days.
Fasten the sheets to the crossbars using special screws, which have heads covered with colored polymer (they can be matched to the tone of the profile), as well as rubber gaskets. The length of the screws for professional sheet fasteners should be 35 mm.Attach the sheet to the cross member and secure it with screws in 450-500 mm pitch.
