How to know VPN?

VPN is an imitation of a local network between computers that are physically on different networks. Such a connection is created in order to establish communication between such computers, as well as to allow access to the Internet.

If the computer already has the ability to make a VPN connection, before you know the VPN server, open "Network Connections". There select the VPN connection and click on it with the right button of the mouse. From the menu that appears before you, select "Properties." In the new window, select the “General” submenu. Here is the IP of this server.

The way to find out VPN, if your computer is not connected to the network, is to call the provider. At the same time, if you decide to use the address of the VPN server in order to illegally connect to the Internet, nothing will work out for you. Internet access provider provides physical addresses of network cards (MAC-addresses).

When a new user is connected, information about his network card is entered into the provider's server. If the MAC address of the computer physically connected to the network is unknown to the provider, this computer will still not connect to the VPN network.
