How to make vanilla mousse

You will need
  • For five servings:
  • - 2 glasses of milk;
  • - 1/2 cup of sugar;
  • - 3 tbsp. spoons of starch;
  • - 1 tbsp. spoon of butter;
  • - 1 tsp. Vanilla sugar or extract;
  • - 1/4 tsp of salt.
The preparation of ingredients takes only 20 minutes, the same amount will be spent on the preparation of vanilla mousse. The total time is 40 minutes, which is not so much for such a delicious homemade treat.
Take a medium sized saucepan, pour in the milk, heat it on medium heat - bubbles should appear at the edges.
Separately, in a deep bowl, mix the sugar and salt and 3 tablespoons of any starch. Add this dry mixture in small portions to the hot milk, without ceasing to stir - the dry mixture should be completely dissolved, without forming lumps.
Continue cooking the mass until it begins to thicken, stir it constantly. It should begin to stick to the bottom of the spoon dipped in it, and not flow down it.Just do not boil this milk mixture!
Remove the saucepan from the heat, add the vanilla sugar or extract, softened butter. Mix thoroughly until smooth. Pour the ready vanilla mousse over the ice-cream bowls, put in the fridge so that the dessert is cooled. If you serve mousse as an independent dessert, you can sprinkle it with chocolate chips, coconut flakes or decorate with fruit slices on top.
